It is crucial that all student leaders (even returning leaders) attend leadership camp. This helps ensure that leaders are trained in the ways of being an effective leader. Without this experience, student leaders will struggle with their position. Below are some critical forms for your review.
1. Students must register online - we can try to do this as a group through Mr. Niemeyer
2. Students must get their own ride to and from this camp.
3. Students and parents must educate themselves on this experience and make sure all rules, forms and expectations are met.
4. Students must pay their portion of the cost!
Time Committments. As stated in the application and stressed in interviews and training, being part ot the leadership team means being even more committed to the band and color guard than regular members. It means putting in a lot more time for the betterment of the membership and the program as a whole. These time commitments are not listed on the calendar. Mr. Niemeyer will communicate via email with leadership team and do his best to post commitments here as well.
Here is what we have agreed on so far.
