History of Warren Band & Color Guard

Warren High School opened it's doors in 1956 as the second high school in the Downey Unified School District - known as Earl Warren High School. In 1963 the board of education voted to change the name to just Warren High School. Since 1956 the Warren HS band & color guard high school has worked to keep and grow it's proud heritage in the performing arts. From the field to the stage, the Warren HS band program has been providing the young adults in the city of Downey an award winning experience in instrumental music and color guard.
